Surfers Paradise Festival

The Surfers Paradise Festival is back! A celebration of food, art, music and entertainment, the festival delights Surfers Paradise across four weekends of community events. See the welcome event, the Surfers Paradise Festival Street Parade, as they weave a colourful lantern display through Surfers Paradise.

Dance along to the Launch It beach concert series, with three nights of great live music! Gold Coast Film Festival

The Gold Coast Film Festival is an annual celebration of screen culture which runs for 11 days.

The festival includes:

Queensland Showcase - cinema screenings of independent films shot in Queensland.

International and Australian pre-release films.

Asia Pacific Screen Award winning films.

Cool Japan: a screen culture program designed to celebrate Japan's creative industries.

In addition the festival hosts free filmmaking workshops and runs a free outdoor screening program oriented towards children's and family films. 75 per cent of Queensland's film industry is located on the Gold Coast, and this event seeks to be the flagship of and porthole to that industry. Gold Coast International Food, Wine and Music Festival

The inaugural Gold Coast International Food, Wine and Music Festival will be a region-wide event, with a festival village based in Palm Meadows. Social functions will be held at various venues across the Gold Coast featuring delights both for the palate and ears of guests.

Some highlights for the inaugural event will include: Breakfast on the beach, Fundraising Gala dinner, numerous gourmet food and wine workshops and masterclasses, concerts and private dinners in exclusive venues.

The program will invite residents and visitors to discover and re-discover what the region has to offer with a unique showcase of local produce and pop-up restaurants.

Celebrity chefs demonstration, world-class musical entertainment and social events will contribute to make it a not-to-be-missed event for food, wine and music lovers.

SkyPoint's Longest Lunch
