Gold Coast trams on the way!
The Gold Coast's new $1.2 billion light rail service is well underway and their sleek look is turning heads on the Coast. With the launch set for June, the trams are currently being tested on the 13km Parklands to Broadbeach track.
With some locals still not entirely convinced of their necessity on the Coast, Mayor Tom Tate is confident they provide an efficient and useful service to both locals and visitors. The tramline will run directly past Broadbeach allowing our guests access to the Northern end of the Coast.
