This long weekend is an exciting one on the Coast with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy! We should have beautiful, warm weather so make sure you get out and enjoy the days. Here are some events to try out:
3rd – 5th October
Gold Coast Cycle Fest (GCCF) is a weekend full of sporting and community events based at Metricon Stadium and hosted by Australian Cycling great, Robbie McEwen.
October 3rd
Enjoy all of the festivities of Oktoberfest at SkyPoint from 7pm till Midnight. The SkyPoint Observation Deck will be filled with great entertainment, delicious German tapas and steins full of beer!
4th – 5th October
Beach Bash is Australia's sandiest obstacle challenge with the aim to promote health, fitness and above all, fun.
Gold Coast Pet and Animal Expo
Central Park, Varsity Lakes 4th – 5th October
The Gold Coast Pet and Animal Expo is the largest animal expo in Australia! Bring your family, bring your friends and don't forget pets are welcome! Admission is free, there is something for all animal lovers.
Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach 4th October
Starring the incredible talents of Amelia Farrugia, Donald Cant, the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra and Gold Cast Youth Choir, the evening will feature classics from hit Broadway Shows such as Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Chess and many more. A truly unique musical experience that will create a night to remember all entirely free!
